Hurricane Ike

After a very loooong day of packing and making all the pre-hurricane preparations I am one tired mama. Everything is boarded up and protected as best as it can be and now we’ll have to wait and see what happens. We are heading out for a few days until this storm blows through so I may be out of touch for a few. I am going to make an effort to check email and stay on top of things as far as pattern orders and so forth are concerned, but if you email me and I don’t get back to you I promise that I will as soon as I get back. It looks like this one is going to be a nasty one so I hope everyone out there stays safe.

Oh, dear, is it expected to come close to your place? We have heard about all those hurricanes that has been on a line the last weeks, it sounds really awful!
