Hey Mickey- a primer
Before you get started here are a few tips:
Choose a yarn that isn’t inclined to drape or sag–your mini could end up down around your knees…
Remember to go down a couple of needle sizes–your knitted fabric should be firm…

The 2-colored skirt really is worth the trouble of changing yarn every few rows, but to save you from weaving in all those ends I suggest that you knit them in as you go along. Obviously you can only do this when you are knitting with the same color. As you can see in the photo I was able to knit all MC ends into the skirt. You’ll still have some ends to weave but not nearly as many as you will if you skip this step.
…and if you really, really hate the idea of weaving in any ends, then I suggest you opt for a solid skirt or a variegated or self striping yarn.
