Are you Shocked?
I know, second post in a single week, but I told you I was going to try and start posting more. we’ll just have to see how long this lasts. So, Cupcake’s baby surprise jacket is done and oh so cute if I do say so myself. I opted for a zipper instead of cutesy buttons in the hopes that it would mod it up just a bit. I also used a heavier gauge yarn (handspun bulky in colorway Nayades from handpaintedyarn.com) than was called for so it’s nice and cushy. I haven’t been able to bring myself to wash it yet- I just love the vinegar-y smell of the handpainted yarn! A wee bonnet is on the needles in a coordinating purple merino and if I can manage to stay off the computer it might be finished in time for the expected cold snap we should be getting late tomorrow or Wednesday.

Isn’t the BSJ great fun?
Thank you for the kid pictures, they’re cute! Oh and the “blimpse” of the cat too

Adorable pictures. What a little southern bell you have on your hands. I bet she can lay it on thick.

The BSJ is so cute!!! I really want to try that pattern, but I keep putting it off. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to give it away! The Hallowe’en costumes are superb, and the girls, as always, adorable. Keep well, friend!

They are so gorgeous - the jacket is adorable. Are you sure she is only 5?

Adorable! I love the costumes, especially the cute witch! My oldest wore something like 4 costumes this year. (Halloween is big at our house)! The little surprise jacket is just adorable, the zipper was a good idea.

I love the costumes! I particularly like Scarlett O’Hara. Now I want a dress with a big hoop skirt!
Your girls are adorable.
