Distraction
This is the view outside of my house on most days in autumn–one of the perks of living in the country. My husband who is an avid hunter would call it a distraction, entertainment at the very least. Fall is definitely in full swing and I’ve been carried away so to speak. I would say that I am a master of distraction, but I think victim would be a better description.

Ladybug’s winter set is complete. I love the way the bog jacket just sort of becomes a jacket. Very cool but not exactly the mindless knitting I had been craving. The color really is lovely and I was pleased with the overall look. I originally knit the length as stated in the pattern which made the jacket surpass hip length. She was not happy about that so I ripped back to a waist length she liked. I’m not entirely pleased with the i cord edges becuase I think they are just too tight. It makes the jacket look much smaller than it really is so I’ll probably redo those before I add the zipper. Overall I added the phoney seams, shoulder shaping, collar, waist shaping and icord trim. I think I might like one of these now that I’ve had a dry run of the pattern.
On the knitting and pattern front I have a few things going on. I have a new pattern that is ready for testing and one that has been ready for release for a while. I still have to knit an added portion for pictures before I’ll send that one out into the world but I am working on it.I’ve still not cast on for Cupcake’s winter set though the yarn calls to me from it’s basket across the room. Priorities y’know…

…And as if I needed any other projects I have been busy turning my pictures and home movies into slideshow DVDs which the fam and I love. It amazes me how much time gets sucked with me in front of the computer.
For those of you who were kind enough to email me or message me on Ravelry concerned that I was still alive, Thanks! I’m here and really tring to get caught back up with all my projects. If I haven’t answered you personally I promise I’ll get around to it.
