Knitting with a feline alpaca addict…
I’ve heard people talk about it but I’ve never seen it for myself…until last night. I pulled out my knitting. Just to refresh, I am knitting a pullover with Decadence from Knitpicks. It’s progressing.
Well, these days Beau doesn’t get the lap time he used to. If I’m not feeding or holding Cupcake I’m usually busy doing something else.Anyway I pulled out the alpaca & kitty came a running. He planted himself in the lap & could not be budged. I guess it was just his turn.
“Hi, I’m Beauregard and I’m an Alpacaholic!”
Now for the funny…
I had to pass this along to those of you in blogland. It’s not my baby or my dog but it was too cute to keep to myself.
The following are important instructions for every dog to know on how to hug a baby:

1. First, spy a baby.

2. Second, be sure that the object you spied is indeed a baby by employing classic sniffing techniques. If you smell baby powder and the wonderful aroma of wet diapers this is indeed a baby.

3. Next you will need to flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process.

4. The “paw slide” -Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.

5. Finally, if a camera is present, you will need to execute the difficult and patented “hug, smile, and lean” so as to achieve the best photo quality.
NOTE: Dogs, if this is properly done, it will secure you a warm, dry, climate-controlled environment for the rest of your life. Good luck to all of you!
