Goodies for the winners.

August 30th, 2007 by Jacque

What big eyes you haveI am waiting for my new camera to arrive so in the meantime we’ll have to make do with an old shot of my fur baby Beauregard (entranced by a lizard outside the window no doubt).

First of all I want to say thank you all so much. I hoped for 50 and you guys more than doubled my expectations! All those comments really made for a great blogiversary. I can’t say just how much I enjoy meeting and chatting with you all! I hope you’ll be back for the everyday chitchat.

Every comment and referral was entered into a hat and yesterday Miss Ladybug did the honors of drawing three names for a prize.

And the winners are…

1st prize…Abigail of 1870 pearl…gets one skein of Shokay 100% yak down yarn (which may I say is like spun buttuh and my luxury yarn of choice–yes, even over cashmere…It’s machine washable don’tcha know!) and a few other goodies for good measure.

2nd & 3rd prizes…Sheila from Knitting in the desert and Ariel of Ariel’s Knitting who will both recieve a little something made by yours truly.

Made by you? From what I’ve seen, it’ll be gorgeous. :-) Thanks again!!

How exciting for me! I rarely win anything much less luxuary yarn. I’ve never heard of yak down and I’m so intriqued.

Let me know when you need my addy and I’ll get it to you asap

Thank you so much and again happy blogoversary:D

    Congratulations to the winners.

    I’ll take the cat.

Big fluffy orange fuzzball isn’t going anywhere? Oh well, it was worth a try.

As much as I love the yarn, I must like kittys more. I have put up with my littlest black cat destroying or damaging more yarn than I have bought in a long time. And I still love her, but my big grey kitty is my baby. Fortunately my big grey kitty doesn’t do that, though she does like laying in the piles when she can.Congrats to the Winners!
