Le slouch
Ladybug stayed home from school again today, but graciously agreed to model my Le slouch. Of course I had to promise chocolate to get her to do it…

Which as you can imagine made her a very happy little bug.
I actually love how Le Slouch looks on her though it is too big. I may make her one, but it will have to be pink for my little diva.
I also forgot to mention that this is it unblocked. On me it looks more like a traditional beret. I think I could have made it longer before decreasing, but I think my short hair may have something to do with it as well.
I used less than 2 balls of Maggi’s Irish Tweed in an oatmeal-ey color that a certain kind someone sent me earlier this year. I love this yarn. Ihave been on a bit of an au natural kick lately. Everything I have on the needles is in the earthy color scheme and this certainly fit the bill. I guess I will have to cast on for something a bit spicier soon.

In the meantime this is my progress on a third Le Slouch started last night for mom. The yarn is Caron simply soft in black the same as I made for my brother. Sorry- no pics- he already took his home. If my progress is consistent with the last two then I should finish mom’s tonight. then I think I’ll spent some time with that sweater for me.

Le slouch is truly slouchy and comfy-looking. Ladybug is adorable — you have beautiful kids.
