No more excuses…

Well these are my last pair of fetching for a while I think. I finished them sometime right after Christmas for my cousin. The KP swish superwash in red pepper is a pretty bright red, but knit up a little bigger than the other pairs I did. Knitter error no doubt, but they’re still pretty and I like the cocoa colored pearl beads with the red.
I have been oh so derilect at blogging (as with everything else in life lately). I have been busy playing catch-up on all the house projects I neglected over the last year while I was pregnant with Cupcake. It was the one New Year’s resolution I actually planned to keep.
Anyway, enough of that. Now that I’m done with my house for the time being I am so into knitting for me. I just started the center section from the cashmere knock-around pullover in Weekend Knitting. I will take some pics for my next post. I decided to knit it in KP sierra in tan which isn’t knitting as big , but the drape is nice. I may have to finagle the pattern a little…we’ll see.
I’m also thinking I want the le slouch hat I saw on turtlegirl’s blog so I may do some rummaging through the stash for that. And to finish off all of my selfish knitting plans, I think I’m going to take another stab at sock knitting. I have some boring grey sock yarn that I was going to get rid of, but I think I am going to save it from the discard pile and cast on for the moc croc socks on the KP website unless you all have any other suggestions on an interesting sock pattern that would look good with boring grey yarn? Hmmm, maybe I’ll work on that for my Greys Anatomy KAL…
