It’s time for something new I think
Getting it into gear has not been happening quite like I planned. Hey Mickey is all put together- well, save the elastic. I have this tendency to put off the needle and thread details of projects for as long as possible. It’s never as bad as I make it out. Kind of like when you really dread having to go to a particular event and you drag yourself there prepared to be miserable but you end up having a great time. Yeah, well…We’re suffering through another gloomy, rainy day so a photo shoot was hardly on the docket anyway.
So now since that is done I am planning a new project, a hoodie I’ve been thinking about for some time. The pattern will be available for purchase here soon. All my Ravely organizing actually turned up a few yarns I’d forgotten I had (and some that I wish I could forget). It looks like I’ll be using Elann Peruvian Highland Wool in pottery red and mocha heather for this Fall worthy hoodie.
I also have a Winter baby sack design based on Zodiac that is in the works featuring some cabling action, a deep V-neck, a side zipper. If all goes as planned I will also make that pattern available for purchase here soon. Ta!

Like the glasses! They look good on you. I can’t get away with the “glance over the top rim of the glasses” look. My glance just looks like I’m a severe school teacher who’s getting ready to point her boney finger and send someone to the principal’s office. Viva glam!

I wear glasses and I know I don’t look as good as you in those. Looks like a teacher making one get to work (but in a sexy way). Love the yarn colours for your fall hoodie!!!

Red is your color, you should wear it often. Glasses and lipstick both look awesome on you.

Cute glasses! I still haven’t seen any leopard-print frames around here, but I imagine they’ll pop up sooner or later. Today involved a trip to the local accessory shop, and much goodness was purchased. You’d love it.

Oh, a winter baby sack, that’s something to looks forward to! I’m right now working on the Zodiac, and a winter sack related to that one sounds great!
