WIP’s and an FO
I found another FO to post. This catch up is hell. I am really in awe of how many things I’ve knit. It really adds up when you start documenting it all. Anyway this is just a simple Stst rectangle trimmed in crochet and decked out with tassels. It’s a good soft lap blankie that Ladybug likes to cuddle with in the recliner.
Ribbed Tassel Vest

Ribbing, ribbing, miles of ribbing. I’m usually a pretty monogamous knitter except when I am working on a project that is mostly ribbing. It makes me sleepy, so I usually have to work on two back and forth or I’d never finish the ribbed project. This is for me unless someone I know loves it more and then I’ll probably let them have it. This is using up the four balls from my stash (yes, as you can see I am trying to work through my horde of yarn so I don’t feel too guilty when I treat myself to some lovery merinos or alpaca- my favorite.

From Pam Allen’s Scarf Style
I’m almost through one ball of my wilton-dyed yarn.
Okay I can’t decide if I like this,or if my unreliable Wilton cake dye job is a little too disco, or what. I’m definitely going to make another one in something luxurious. This is 100% virgin wool and isn’t my favorite, but I believe it would make a nice gift if I decide it’s not for me.

I love the dye job, but it does look somewhat disco. Then again… it all depends what you wear it with. If you’re wearing all white (careful with the dye!) or all black, or really all-any neutral color, this might work.If you keep knitting and find you don’t like it… well, life is too short to knit something you don’t love!
