Finally Finished!
I finally managed to finish the Irish Hiking scarf for my grandmother in time to gift it at Christmas. Yeah me! I thought it was a fun knit. I probably would have finished it much sooner but for the interruptions I encountered. I can’t wait to make mine in yummy vanilla merino yarn.
I also started my LMKG legwarmers in madil kid seta in lime and Knitpicks Andean silk in lettuce. I thought I would be bored working one long tube of ribbing, but as it is 1 x 1 ribbing it goes pretty fast.

I have to admit that my left hand hurts from using the small circular needle required. I’m not much of a fan of circular needles mostly because of the stiffness of the cables, but I’ve ordered the knitpicks options to see if I’ll like them better. I’ve heard good things.
These are quite delicious to wear even with the circular still attached at the bottom. They are just dying to be finished so they can cuddle up with me on my couch over the Christmas holidays. I’ve already had two more requests for these and they are perfect for mindless TV knitting.
(lovely pic of my tootsies and yarn) BTW, does anyone out there notice if you knit faster while watching specific things? For instance, I am a veritable speed knitter when I knit while watching horror or suspense movies. I knit more slowly while watching drama or comedy. Anyway, just wondering.
