So vury busy these days
Well, I’ve been vury, vury, busy these last few days trying to get everything in order for my Knitty pattern submissions (Cross your fingers). It’s hard submitting photos for a winter issue when you’re melting in the Texas sun, but hey what are you gonna’ do?
Ladybug still likes school though every morning that I wake her she informs me that she’s not going because she’ll miss me, and every afternoon as I pick her up she states very matter of factly, that she cannot come home because she’ll miss her new friends. As long as there is no crying or temper throwing then I am one happy mom. Complaining and cajoling I can handle. Hey, I figure I’ve got the rest of my life (at least the part she’s in school) to hear it so it comes with the territory.
Only 33 more days until the new baby is here. Woohoo, hooray (does a funny looking, very pregnant, but happy end zone-type dance and Thanks God for C-sections). We are all looking forward to meeting the newest princess in our family, but no one so much as mom who can’t wait to see if her toes look anything like she remembered. Of course I have a crapload of stuff to do still to prepare. With my first pregnancy the nursey was ready and waiting at five months, and my hospital bag was packed three months in advance. Not so this time and the next month would qualify as a busy one with or without taking into account the ever-frequent doc appointments and other baby related things, so I guess I’d better get off my rather large bum and get hoppin’…
but before I go I’ll leave you with a peek of the reining princess in our house (and yes he is a male wearing a crown and a pink collar. I just can’t seem to convince Ladybug that Beau is not a girl kitty. Oh, well, at least she’s not into gender labeling.)

Your cat is adorable with a capital A. Hope your submission to Knitty makes it to the big time.
