You just thought I was kidding
Okay, does everyone remember when target had all that yarn in the dollar spot near the front of the store? Well, I helped myself to several colors of the 100% nylon fuzzy fur. It was oh so soft and definitely feathery and furry as opposed to eyelashy.

I also splurged on the little one dollar spiral of patterns that included a scarf, a shawl, a purse and a wine cozy. Needless to say I knitted the scarf in the solid orange for my mom’s secret sister from her sorority. It turned out loverly, so Mom and I both wanted one (in the variegated orange), and my ladybug chose the lavendar. Since then some of the yarn got used in baby projects, but I’m currently searching for something similar maybe available in more colors.
I actually knit the hat on the way back from the hurricane evacuation trip from hell, and I lost my place on the second cable twist (the one that’s a little longer than the rest, anyway despite all that the hat turned out cute and it was fast and easy to knit, and I have to add that I really love all the hat patterns at Headhuggers.org.
